Returns, Cancellations and Refunds Policy

Last updated: 10 June 2026

At Just Being Me, we want you to be happy with anything you purchase from us. This policy explains your rights when cancelling a purchase, returning a physical product or requesting a refund.

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights.

Physical Products Purchased Online

When you purchase a physical product online, you normally have the right to change your mind and cancel your order.

You must tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days of receiving your order. Once you have told us that you wish to cancel, you have a further 14 days to return the item.

To request a return, email contactjustbeingme@gmail.com and include:

  • Your full name
  • Your order number or purchase details
  • The item you wish to return
  • The reason for the return, if the item is faulty or incorrect

We will provide you with the return address and any instructions you need.

Condition of Returned Products

You may inspect a product as you would be able to in a shop. However, you are responsible for keeping the product safe while it is in your possession.

Returned products should be sent back in their original condition with any packaging, labels and accessories where possible.

We may reduce your refund if the product has been handled more than necessary and this has reduced its value.

Your right to change your mind may not apply to certain products including:

  • Personalised or custom-made products
  • Products that deteriorate or expire quickly
  • Sealed products that are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once the seal has been broken
  • Sealed audio, video or computer software products once the seal has been broken

This does not affect your rights when a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or unfit for purpose.

Return Postage

You are normally responsible for the cost of returning an unwanted product unless we have stated otherwise.

We will pay reasonable return costs when a product is faulty, damaged, not as described or sent to you incorrectly. Please contact us before returning the product so that we can explain what to do.

We recommend obtaining proof of postage when returning an item. You are responsible for the product until it reaches us.

Refunds for Physical Products

When you cancel an eligible online purchase, we will refund:

  • The price you paid for the product
  • Any discounts applied to the purchase
  • The cost of our standard delivery option

If you selected a more expensive delivery option, we are not required to refund the additional amount above the cost of standard delivery.

We may wait until we have received the returned product or you have provided evidence that you sent it back before issuing your refund.

Refunds will normally be made within 14 days of receiving the returned product or evidence that it has been returned. We will use the same payment method that you used for the original purchase unless we agree otherwise.

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

You have legal rights when a product is:

  • Faulty
  • Damaged
  • Not as described
  • Not of satisfactory quality
  • Unfit for its intended purpose

Please email contactjustbeingme@gmail.com as soon as possible and include your order details, an explanation of the problem and photographs where appropriate.

Depending on the circumstances and your legal rights, you may be entitled to a refund, repair or replacement.

Damage caused by normal wear and tear, misuse or failure to follow the product instructions is not treated as a product fault.

Exchanges

We may offer an exchange where stock is available.

To request an exchange, email contactjustbeingme@gmail.com with your order details and tell us which product, size or colour you would like.

We will send the replacement after receiving and checking the original product. If the requested replacement is unavailable, we will offer an alternative or provide a refund where appropriate.

Your statutory rights are not affected by choosing to request an exchange.

Digital Products and Downloads

Digital products include downloadable guides, documents, recordings, courses or other content supplied electronically.

When purchasing digital content, you may be asked to agree that the content can be supplied immediately. You may also be asked to acknowledge that you will lose your 14 day right to cancel once the download, access or supply of the content begins.

When you have provided this agreement and acknowledgement, you will not normally be entitled to cancel simply because you have changed your mind after accessing or downloading the content.

If the digital content is faulty, not as described or does not work as it reasonably should, please email contactjustbeingme@gmail.com. We will assess the problem and provide an appropriate repair, replacement, price reduction or refund in line with your legal rights.

Your statutory rights relating to faulty digital content are not affected.

Coaching Sessions, Group Programmes and Other Services

Coaching, group programmes, workshops and other services are also covered by your individual service agreement, booking terms or programme terms.

When you book a service online, by telephone or away from our business premises, you may have a legal right to cancel within 14 days of entering into the contract.

If you ask us to begin providing the service during the 14 day cancellation period and then decide to cancel, you may be required to pay a reasonable amount for the service already provided.

If the service has been fully completed during the cancellation period, you may lose your right to cancel where you expressly agreed that the service could begin and acknowledged that your cancellation right would be lost once the service was completed.

Once the statutory cancellation period has ended, any cancellation or refund will be considered under the terms of the agreement you accepted when booking.

Missed sessions, late cancellations and changes to bookings will be handled under the cancellation terms contained in your individual agreement.

Nothing in an individual agreement removes any statutory rights you may have.

Memberships and Subscriptions

Memberships and subscription services are governed by the terms provided when you join.

You can cancel future payments in accordance with the cancellation terms of your membership or subscription. Cancelling normally prevents future payments but does not automatically provide a refund for a period of membership that has already begun or been used.

Any statutory cancellation rights that apply to your purchase remain unaffected.

Please email contactjustbeingme@gmail.com if you wish to cancel a membership or need help understanding the terms that apply to it.

Events and Workshops

Cancellation and refund arrangements for events and workshops will be explained on the booking page or in the terms provided when you book.

Where an event has a specific cancellation deadline, transfer option or refund arrangement, those terms will apply alongside your statutory rights.

If Just Being Me cancels an event and no suitable alternative is offered, you will receive a refund of the amount paid for that event.

We are not responsible for additional costs such as travel, accommodation or childcare unless the law requires otherwise.

To cancel or discuss a purchase, email:
